I try reading things, books, signs, mags, menu, faces and body language! I get the thinker going at some of the SOS events!! Classes are a great way to keep from duhs-ville too. Adult learning is a wonderful way not to waste your brain.
Talking with people is also my way of keeping alert. Sometimes I'm just awe struck watching the public go by when sitting on a park bench. I try to image what the hell that was!! and other times I wish I were other people! At any rate, just keep yourself active. But, never forget to have some meditation time to restore the soul! Hope I can remember to celebrate the miracle that I am!! Everyone should!! My dog thinks I'm great ask him he'll tell ya! Honest.
