E-Q Responses:

Out of 50 responses, 10 named honesty. In the discussion everyone had been lied to at one time or another -- about relationships, personal loans not repaid, work not completed or overbilled, slanderous remarks about one's actions or character and also thievery. One person, who had been badly hurt and lied to in a relationship was finding it difficult to feel any sense of trust with others.

Tied for second was "sincerity" and "living each day to the fullest." A good discussion followed what "living each day to the fullest" means -- reelecting on the past but not dwelling; planning for the future but not obsessed; and engaged and responsive to the present. Interesting views were given on the impact of being optimistic or pessimistic and on having a positive attitude versus being depressed.
